Această povestioară a fost scrisă pentru a ajuta o fată care a suferit anterior neglijență și se luptă cu rivalitatea dintre frați.

Adaptări: ar putea fi folosită pentru orice situație dificilă anterioară, care a restrâns resursele parentale, cum ar fi boala sau stresul.

Odinioară, într-un regat magic, s-au născut cele mai frumoase două ouă de dinozaur. Unul a fost un ou frumos albastru-pestriț, iar celălalt un frumos galben-roz. Erau pur și simplu perfecte. Într-o zi, aceste ouă frumoase aveau să eclozeze în dinozauri mici, dar mai întâi aveau nevoie de multă lumină solară pentru a-i ajuta să crească. Problema a fost, totuși, că ouăle s-au născut într-un cuib, într-o junglă foarte aglomerată, cu foarte puțină lumină solară. Era doar cea mai mică rază de soare. Oul albastru s-a rostogolit mai aproape de soare și a început să crească puțin. Dar nu era suficient nici măcar pentru acel ou mic. Oul galben-roz abia a primit puțin soare și nu creștea puternic. A devenit mai slab și mai trist fără nicio lumină solară. Nimeni nu putea vedea cât de frumos era acest mic dinozaur înăuntru.

Slavă Domnului, într-o zi, un explorator și-a dat seama că aceste ouă nu creșteau și nu vor ecloza niciodată acolo unde locuiau. Așadar, au fost mutate într-o țară frumoasă, cu mult soare și dragoste. Era suficientă lumină solară aici pentru o sută de ouă de dinozaur!! Ouăle noastre au crescut și au crescut, până când într-o zi superbă, însorită, au eclozat! Oh, aceștia au fost cei mai drăguți dinozauri pe care i-ați văzut vreodată! Au strălucit! Au devenit puternici. Ei s-au jucat, au râs și au mâncat atâtea frunze și flori. Erau perfecți.

Uneori, micul nostru dinozaur galben-roz își făcea griji că soarele se va termina. Soarele i-a spus că va străluci mereu mult acum, că se află în această nouă țară. Ar fi mereu acolo și ar fi întotdeauna suficient pentru toată lumea. Soarele i-a dat o piatră magică pentru a-i aminti că nu trebuie să-și facă griji niciodată.

Once upon a time, in a magical kingdom, the two most gorgeous little dinosaur eggs were born. One was a beautiful speckled blue egg and the other a beautiful yellow/pink one. They were just perfect. One day, these beautiful eggs would hatch into little child dinosaurs, but first, they needed lots of sunlight to help them grow. The problem was, though, that the eggs were born into a nest in a very busy jungle with very little sunlight. There was only the tiniest little ray of sunlight. The blue egg just happened to roll closer to the sunshine and started to grow just a tiny bit. But there wasn’t enough even for that little egg. The yellow/ pink egg hardly got any sunshine at all and was not growing strong. It grew weaker and sadder without any sunlight. No one could see how beautiful this little dinosaur was inside.

Thank goodness, one day, an explorer realised these eggs were not growing and would never hatch where they lived. So, they were moved to a beautiful country with lots of sunshine and love. There was enough sunlight here for a hundred dinosaur eggs!! Our little eggs grew and grew, until one gorgeous, sunny day, they hatched! Oh, these were the cutest little dinosaurs you ever did see! They sparkled! They grew strong. They played. They laughed and they ate so many leaves and flowers. They were perfect.

Sometimes, our little yellow/ pink dinosaur worried that the sunshine would run out. The sun told her that it would always shine lots now that she was in this new country. It would always be there and there would always be enough for everyone. The sun gave her a magic stone to remind her that she did not need to worry ever again.
